Everything that I post in this blog is my own opinion and does not reflect or represent in any way the ideas of DS SolidWorks.

I have seen a few people complain about jobs being outsourced to countries in Asia and South America, so  I thought this one was an interesting article to share here with you, since it ultimately affects all of us here in the States.

  • Gabi, great article. One thing that everyone may overlook is your workflow within the software. Everytime time you are running your mice to one side of the screen then to the middle then to the other side is eating up precious time. When you are in a feature, right click to accept features, set up your shortcut bar so that it benefits you the most. Just some ideas, I am doing a presentation at our local user group on this so it has been on my mind as of lately. Keep up the great work and good luck with getting ready for the test.

Thanks, Jason! You are right, it does eat up some precious time. The advice about the shortcut bar is really useful! I tried it and it’s making a big difference already. Oh, I so much hope to pass this test!
