DS SolidWorks provides me with a non-commercial license of SolidWorks Premium. They have also invited me to press events and conferences, such as SolidWorks World, free of charge and, at times, they have also provided for accomodations, some meals and transportation. I don't, however, receive any payment for blogging or instructions on what I should write about. Everything that I post in this blog is my own opinion and does not reflect or represent in any way the ideas of DS SolidWorks.

Earlier, this afternoon, I submitted what will be my entry for the 32nd Rendering Contest, hosted by Rob Rodriguez.  I wish I could tell you which entry is mine, but that would be against the rules, so you’ll have to wait until after the winner is announced to find out.  This is very exciting for me! It’s the first time I ever enter a contest like this one and even more exciting is the fact that I’m really a novice at this rendering business.  This is a great opportunity for me to see how other people like (or not) what I’m doing so far. I think it’s good, but you know, we tend to be biased with our own work.

I know there will be plenty of great entries for you to vote for, because after submitting mine, I spent some time browsing through the gallery of previous entries and I was completely amazed at how creative some folks can be with PhotoWorks. And since for this particular contest it is also OK to use PhotoView 360, I bet there will be even more great entries than before. Competition will be tough! Ah, but it’s fun to be in the contest, whether I win or not.

Make sure to visit Rob’s blog to submit your own entry or vote for your favorite. Let’s see if you can guess which one is mine!
