The winner of the contest has finally been announced over at Rob Rodriguez Blog. No, it wasn’t me, of course. It was Fabien Bernadet, with a really awesome image of an autographed football helmet inside a glass display. Really nice job!

I don’t feel so bad myself, because I managed to get six votes. That means at least someone out there thought it was good! And I’m only a beginner… The more I learn the better renderings I will be able to produce.

So, did you figure out which image was mine? It’s not a secret anymore, so I can finally show you here. By the way, did you even notice that my helmet isn’t golden, but has a slight hint of pink? My husband says he can’t tell the difference. Oh, well, I tried.   I think I’ll enter the next contest too, and see if I do a bit better this time. But don’t worry, I won’t try to make a pink Mach 4. This is so much fun!
