Yeah "a" bug is definitely the case here. I have been using solidworks for 4 years and love it for the most part. However, if you are trying to animate anything without the premium solidworks motion software FOGETABOOUTIT! The included motion/animation software is horendous! It works for about 30 seconds and anything over that is retarded! I emailed SW and told them that they should not even include their software in the basic/standard packages because they are 100% useless. I spent 24 hours wasting my time with it trying to get a simple motion animation to work with a robot system and it was terrible. Not only that, for the parts you do get to work and then save/re-open is different! You save at a "safe" point and go back the next day it works nothing like it did before. My boss was pissed because this program sucks! Really I mean avoid at all cost. You are better off exporting to another program when it comes to the animation portion of you duties. Don't even waste your time with this junky software. If you have more than a two step process or more than 10 seconds of animation everything blows up. The software does not remember where the components are supposed to be and free-floats them in space even though you have complete limit mates set up. Why? I don't know but I assure you the animation / motion software in solidworks should be avoided at all costs! Stay away!

With SW, can't anyone submit a bug and have it be noticed? With Siemens NX (NX6), we've submitted upwards of 20 bugs over the last 9 monthsand seen near-immediate response, usually in the next "maintenance release" or "maintenance pack".

Cool!! Thank you! Just hope they don't call me bug lady from now on... LOL No, but seriously, it's a good thing when this kind of stuff gets noticed by those that can do something about it. I really hope it gets fixed soon! Thanks again, Lou!
