I’m a Mechanical Engineer from Mexico, currently living in California, USA. I’m also a wife to a very lucky guy, and a mother to a couple of smart and amazingly high-spirited little boys. In my previous life, while still in Mexico, I leaned towards the area of design of thermal systems. You know, combustion, heat and mass transfer, turbomachinery, power generation. All that fun stuff! After a long break, I decided to update myself in order to “come back to life” as an engineer. Learning SolidWorks was part of that updating process. My journey began back in 2008 and since then I’ve learned a lot about SolidWorks and the people who work with it every day. I became a CSWP, attended SolidWorks World twice, presented at a SWUGN technical summit in California and even had the great honor to co-author a book for beginners with no other than Alex Ruiz, also known as SolidWorks Geek. And of course I’ve had lots of fun and met all kinds of interesting people along the way!
